I have several Axis cameras configured in my newly installed Zoneminder 1.26.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 Server LTS.

The Axis 225FD cameras work fine, but the Axis M3204 keeps freezing the video feed. And in the log I see that zmc crashes and restarts all the time. When I view the RTSP feed with VLC I have no issues at all. So I think the issue is with the Zoneminder servier.

I have enabled Debug logging but have not identified any cause for this behavour.
After googling the issue I have come up empty-handed.

Any tips and help would be appreciated!

You did not say but I would guess you are using the H.264 stream with the ffmpeg settings?

Try using the mjpg stream from the camera and the ZM remote setting. you should be able to keep using rtsp protocol. use 640x480 resolution and drop the frame rate back to 5 FPS at the camera to see if that works. Also uncheck CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES in the ZM settings.

%EI1% attach the first alarmed frame but what if I want to attach the 5th or 20th? I tried %EI2% %EI5% etc. but that don't work. And can I somehow attach non-alarmed frames from event?
