Hi All,

I am a long time user who has set up many machines for my company, but still a Linux noob.

I installed a new machine & setup the iconnor repository & then setup the nightly build repository.

Now I am having a few issues with modect & would like to go back to 1.27.1. Me, being the noob that I am, always follow excellent instruction on this forum & the wiki, & there is none to do this.

So, my question is, is there instructions somewhere to help me get back to 1.27.1 from 1.27.99?

Thanks.

May be just as easy for you to start over with a fresh install of Linux. I had to replace a hard drive on a ZM server last Monday and had my 15 camera system up and running in a bit over an hour. If you do not need the features of 1.27 I recommend you use:
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... e_easy_way
It works!
Or you can remove the PPA: http://ask.xmodulo.com/how-to-remove-pp ... buntu.html
Remove Zoneminder: sudo apt-get purge zoneminder
This may not remove images but zmaudit should remove them when you get the replacement system running.
Then you will need to add back the PPA for 1.27. Oh, 1.27.1 PPA does not support Ubuntu 14.04. You may be just as successful using Ubunty 14.04 and ZM 1.26.5
