Well there is nothing at /home or /news or /documentation or /screenshots or /downloads or /support or /wiki or /shop or /donate or /search or /contact. Nothing in forum-Announcements or forums-Zoneminder 1.27.x or forums-Zoneminder 1.28.x.

As has been the case since ZoneMinder was moved to github, this is the place for official release announcements (bookmark it):

This is how it is going to be whether you like it or not.
Since this is a community driven project, supported by volunteers who give their time freely, I encourage you to roll up your sleeves and help. Documentation is a great place to help for those who are unwilling to write code.
