I've installed (yum) 1.27 on a new FC19 box. All went well except no images. When I click on camera-1 the screen comes up, sans image. And the system is in constant alarm. The frames are stored in the events subdir. What got missed?

Did you enable cgi in Apache2?

I have the exact same problem. CGI is enabled. the error log shows zm is complainting about a socket in /tmp/zm/ and a deprecated mysqli. Did you manage to solve this issue?
PHP Deprecated: mysql_pconnect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /var/www/zoneminder/includes/database.php
and the issue with the socket:
ERR [getStreamCmdResponse stream error: socket_sendto( /tmp/zm/zms-034737s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory - checkStreamForErrors()],

You need to upgrade to 1.28
