I am wanting to try out ZoneMinder on a "freebie" computer. It currently only has an 80g hard drive. If it is something that looks like it will work for me I will want to roll it out with more storage. Where does ZoneMinder store the video and can I just add another drive to expand the storage or does it need to know that drive is there during install of Zoneminder?

Zoneminder does not store video but a series of still (jpg) images in /var/cache/zoneminder/events Depending upon the number of cameras and resolution, 80 GIG could store a lot of events.

This can be moved to another drive. Search the forums and WIKI for what others have done. There are other options...
