Just in case it helps anyone: to get the card working with Ubuntu 14.04.1LTS and Zoneminder 1.28 you need the following settings in the /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf file:

alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv gbuffers=16 card=102,102,102,102,102,102,102,102 radio=0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 tuner=4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4 chroma_agc=1 combfilter=1 full_luma_range=1 coring=1
