I have 2 IP Cameras both of them Dahua, 1 is a IPC-HFW2100 and the other one is IPC-HFW4300S. Before I upgraded to 1.28 all was running Ok on 1.26 but since I have upgraded the IPC-HFW4300S is showing only a blue screen.
Os is Ubuntu 14
Zoneminder settings:
Source Type: Ffmpeg
rtsp://zm:zone@192.168.0.3:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&?tcp
options:
24bit
capture w: 1280
capture h: 960
Logs are showing a lot of errors:
Unable to open input rtsp://zm:zone@192.168.0.3:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&?tcp due to: Operation now in progress
Any ideas?

Re: Dahua IPC-HFW4300S
I am running a Dahua IPC-HDBW4300E (similar model to you)
My camera configuration goes like this
Resolution = SXGA (1280*1024)
FPS = 25
BitRate Type = CBR
Zoneminder Camera Configuration
General
Maximum FPS = 5
Alarm Maximum FPS = 24
Source
Source Path = rtsp://xxxxx:yyyy@192.168.1.154:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0?tcp
Remote Method = RTP/RTSP
Target Colorspace = 24 bit
Capture Width = 1280
Capture Height = 1024
Buffers
Image Buffer Size = 50
Warmup Frames = 25
Pre Event Image Count = 20
Post Event Image Count = 50
With your Blue screen, I suggest you look at the Buffers area. Perhaps try reducing them.
Hope this helps

Re: Dahua IPC-HFW4300S
Try removing the "?tcp" at the end. You may need to reboot your system
This is what happened to me when I tried attaching ?tcp at the end for my Foscam cameras. "Operation in progress" followed by both the Database and ZM stopping due to too many connections.
BTW, if you are using RTP/RTSP mode in ZM, it is forcing tcp already - maybe this change was made starting 1.28, I don't know

I no longer work on zmNinja, zmeventnotification, pyzm or mlapi. I may respond on occasion based on my available time/interest.
