Getting negative length recordings

I've used ZM for years but the PC it was on has died so I just did a fresh install on my Ubuntu 14.04 server. I'm having problems with events having a negative length, and any events nearby it won't play. For instance:
You'll notice that the events overlap - the negative is at 20:12:21, but three events of multiple duration up to 9 seconds are all with the same timestamp. None of those events will play back. When I try to open them, it just spins and never loads an image. The frames are all on the hard drive in the events folder.
Here's from the other camera:
The settings for the cameras are all default except on one I've set a smaller alarm zone. One camera is a Cisco / Linksys N150 wifi and the other is a cheap chinese wifi with IR LED's. Both worked previously with identical settings (I was able to get the dying PC up long enough to grab the settings from the web interface.)
Any ideas why this is happening? My recordings are useless right now, almost nothing plays back. Using stock package install with Ubuntu 14.04. Monitor view works perfectly.
