Caveats to SSD install?

I presently have my ZM install on an old Sata II 160gb drive (mothballed from an old Apple computer), and video saved to a WesternDigital Sata II AV hard drive (mothballed from a Tivo DVR, drive is a predecessor to the WD Purple). I am contemplating shrinking the 160 partition(s) then imaging the OS drive onto a 60GB SSD drive, but I wonder if there are any caveats to running the install on a SSD drive?

Shrink your OS/BOOT partitions down to something that is smaller than the new SSD.

Run clonezilla off a bootable usb, clone the partitions you want to the SSD, then replace the old hard drive with the new SSD.

Run for at least a week or 2 before recomissioning the 160 gb drive.

Voila !
