Hello

i have one Test Camera with 2Mp 1920 x 1080
on a I5 4570 with 8 GB Ram on Ubuntu Linux

The Life view is ok but not 25 Frames ... maybe 12 ? Frames. When i Export a Video there is a lot of struggling in the Video.

is this normal ? What is with 12 Cameras ? is the Hardware to Slow ?

System load is ~ 0,8 - 1,28 in not viewing mode, only Motion detektion in the back with one camera.

By struggling I would guess you mean the motion is jumpy?
Which version of Ubuntu?
I suggest you lower your resolution and frame rate bit to see of it helps.
Turn off CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES. Change PATH_MAP and PATH_SWAP to use ramdisk (/dev/shm or /run/shm for Ubuntu 14.04. /dev/shm for Ubuntu 15.04). This will take a bit of load off of your hard drive.
Ubuntu will, by default, use half of available RAM for a ramdisk. I have reduced this down to 1 GIG for my i5 system with 8 GIG RAM running 16 cameras with no problems.

I have made your Settings but the jumpy videos are still there.

The only error in log is when i look the life stream ist :
Shared data not initialised by capture daemon, some query functions may not be available or produce invalid results for monitor Monitor-11

is the Harddrive to slow for one full hd camera ?
