Okay,

I have several IP cameras that work great and 3 analog cameras that are connected to a Grandstream gx3504. I can stream the feed to vlc on my pc and on the ubuntu VM that i run zoneminder on. However, when trying that same URL on the libvlc or ffmpeg settings on zoneminder, it fails and just outputs either a blue screen or nothing.

Any ideas? :/

I've got both a 3501 and a 3504.
I'm using a source type of ffmpeg and they both work fine in zoneminder.

What version of ffmpeg do you have on your system?

I have an ubuntu server that runs avconf version 9.18

I have also installed ffmpeg and tried that too, version N-74369-g55a07cf (they could make version numbers simpler...)
