Event trigger on Camera A triggers Event on Camera B

I noticed that the cameras are "linked" tho I am not sure what this does.

What I want to do is have motion detection on Camera A trigger an event on Camera B and I will set the buffer on Camera B such that the event will actually be the previous minute or two and then another minute or two after event.

I was thinking worst case I could use some sort of filter with the "Run Commands" part of the filter, any suggestions?

http://zoneminder.readthedocs.org/en/la ... onitor-tab will explain linked monitors, which does what you want I believe.

I figured it out, they are automatically added to linked list, but not linked untill you click and save. Very misleading IMO.

All available monitors show up in the list, to allow you to select which ones you want to link.
No monitors are automatically linked, ever. You have to do that manually.

Yes thats what I meant by added to the list, once I figured it out, I wanted to bang my head on the table :P, but I put up some pictures to help clear, because I noticed this thread got a lot of views.
