Hi. After update to v1.29.0 i cant see stream from camera on web. But i can see how they work and write captures.
And after update, in log have new error, when i try open montage:
"Attempt to fetch string value for ZM_OPT_USE_GOOG_RECAPTCHA, actual type is boolean. Try running 'zmupdate.pl -f' to reload config."

I try zmupdate.pl -f, but its not result. Help!

Please post the output of zmupdate.pl. Also, it must be run as root, so make sure you are doing

sudo zmupdate.pl

There are a couple of "settings" that need to be changed depending upon your OS distro. We can't guess which version of Linux you are using...

This will happen if you try to run "sudo zmupdate.pl -f" and it can't get a lock on the database (i.e. zoneminder is still running and holding the dB open).

After running sudo zmupdate.pl -f, if you still see the same message in your logs, then the operation was not successful.
You need to figure out what is preventing zmupdate.pl from getting a lock on your database.

I stopped zoneminder and apache, zmupdate.pl -f again and... nothing.

/In start i update base with zmupdate and its successful.

especially in section: Ubuntu 14.04 - ZM 1.26.5 or later to 1.29.0 or the latest PPA version

and repeat it again, though I thought I already did it before.
seems all is fine now.

This error has nothing to do with the original post and should have gone in its own thread.

socket_bind( /var/run/zm/zms-559798w.sock ) failed: Address already in use

This means you've got something else running on your system that has already created the same socket. That usually means you've got leftovers from a previous session of zoneminder still running. You could go through your process list, find and kill them all, but a reboot might be simpler.

i have this same problem cameras are blinking info in console are green but there is no video here is my log .... i am useing ubuntu 15.10 and ZoneMinder v1.29.0 please help

It doesn't like the url you are using for the camera.

that is the the url the other system has the only differences in the system is this one is v1.29.1 and the working one is v1.28.1
