Issues with 1.29.0/Ubuntu 15.10

I'm trying to install 1.29.0 on Ubuntu 15.10 using the instructions found at http://zoneminder.readthedocs.org/en/la ... buntu-15-x

I've gone through it twice using a fresh Ubuntu install every time and I've tried everything I've found in the forum that looks related to my problems.

I am able to get things setup and a monitor configured. I see in the log that it is capturing frames (e.g. Backdoor: 9000 - Capturing at 20.00 fps).

My two problems are:

1. When trying to see a live stream I get errors like:

Code: Select all

getStreamCmdResponse stream error: socket_sendto( /var/run/zm/zms-822185s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory - checkStreamForErrors()
mod_cgi is enabled and I've tried changing PATH_ZMS.

2. If I set the monitor to modect mode then I keep seeing this in the logs, over and over:

Code: Select all

'zma -m 1' starting at 16/02/18 19:26:52, pid = 14406
'zma -m 1' started at 16/02/18 19:26:52
'zma -m 1' crashed, signal 10
Restarting analysis daemon for Backdoor
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks, there were a couple of commands there that are missing from the install instructions. That did the trick.
