SO many stinking false event triggers. How do I fix my zones?

Seems like everything except real motion (once in a while that works too) triggers an Event. I might as well use record instead of MoCord. How do I get MoCord to only record real events? I'm really finding the zone settings to be tricky. When I watch in fast motion I see small reflections or shadow changes as well as some light camera noise. I'm guessing this is what's triggering things. Usually with no alarm frames. This is a little bit frustrating.

Really the best bet may be to use a PIR sensor and trigger the camera to turn on when there is real motion. But I'd like to also figure out MoCord if it is a useful setting.

Really pulling my hair out with zone settings. Seems no matter what I do, I'm getting endless false triggers. I've even made the zones tiny and set the min pixel threshold to 255... Still only false triggers.

Mocord records everything and flags motion events.

Modect records only motion. Yes, changing light, moving branches and squirrels can trigger events...

Sorry! I typed MoCord but meant MoDect. I believe MoDect was what I was using with all the false triggers. But I will try again just to be sure.

Just to add that it seems MoDect is working. I must have truly set it to MoCord earlier. Thus the frustration. Whoops!

Those damn squirrels. They trigger a lot of events here.
