Zoneminder Server on Android

Hey guys, great work with Zoneminder!
I've been meaning to set up surveillance for my home, and Zoneminder felt like the perfect solution for my needs (has all desired features, provides full control & flexibility, open source, etc )
I also just wanted to make use of unused smartphones since I had quite a few lying around.
What I didn't want, is to use 3rd party / cloud hosting services, and neither did I want to dedicate my own PC to run 24/7 as a server.
So as an experiment / hack, I decided to have zoneminder server running on one of the android phones, and use the rest as the IP Camera clients.
And heck, it's been working out pretty well! I finally got around to documenting the approach if anyone else is interested.
