Linked Monitors Event Count

When I have two linked monitors, why do their event counts not match? My details are such that I have four cameras, and each camera has two "monitors" in ZM, a high and a low bandwidth stream. The Low bw monitor is set to Modect. The High bw monitor is set to Nodect, and is linked to the Low bw monitor. After a day I get 44 on Low, and 29 on High. Or 146 on Low and 2 on High.
The numbers should be equal, shouldn't they?
