Ubuntu will use half of your RAM for tmpfs. The logical thing to do is add more RAM. Yes, you can grab more RAM to use for tmpfs but in your case it would be to the detriment of your system. If you are having trouble keeping cameras working I recommend lowering the resolution on the cameras. You could move ZM processes using tmpfs to hard disk (/tmp) but your system would c r a w l.
