night time

Post by NewtoTheZone »

Has anyone else had a problem when their cameras go into night mode of the image being all distorted. During the day its clear as I can expect with the low quality camera. But when it goes into night mode the image is all fuzzy, lines, scrambled up.

Any ideas?

Thanks All..

What camera are you using? I have Foscam and Vivotek cameras that work well at night.

I have analog connect to a capture card. The cameras worked ok on my cheap chinnees dvr unit, which makes me think it's the capture card.

I would probably get better results from up cameras.

If you do not tell us what you are using nobody can even begin to help you.

... and if possible include a link to the "fuzzy lines scrambled" picture example as someone may recognise what the source of the fault is!
