Hi!

I have a problem starting zoneminder Service. It fails. The webapplication works so far.

apache (FTP, samba) runs as user Server, group Server.
I noticed some subdirectories (/var/log/zoneminder) are installed with user apache group apache.
Maybe there are some directories i have to change or chmod?

I do not know where to specify the Password for a su Server [FAILED SU (to Server) apache on none]

Server is in the sudoers group
Selinux is deactivated

So, I would guess you are using a red hat distro? If so, p!ease tell us what you used to install.

I did download the Centos 7 64 Bit Image at the end of 2015 from the community.

For zoneminder i use it actually updated Centos 7 64 Bit on a "Biostar" Motherboard with a small AMD Atom like processor.

It is a clone of a Centos7 server prepared by me which runs stable on of some other servers / proccessors / motherboads for 6 months.

I did install Centos 7 / Apache / MYSQL / PHP / Samba / FTP / VNCSERVER from the original repositories - also ironcube ????? for an application.
Http / FTP / Samba work fine together. This runs for 6 month now with some web web applications. ( not used in this context).

Then i installed zoneminder.

I can startx and use Firefox on the "zoneminder" Server to connect.
