When is it time for Multi Server?

I've got an implementation with 16 ip cameras with dual streams.
The server (Ubuntu - zm1.29) is a Xeon 32G and stripped SSD.
LowRes 320x240@4fps (MoDetect)
HiRes 1920x1080@10fps (NoDetect - linked)
Updated to MariaDB.
It runs at 50-55% CPU utilization and peak at 90% during heavy alarm load.
I'm not comfortable with this load.
I can lower the frame rate to 2fps on the MoDetect streams/monitors, that should help.
Or is it time to bust out mulit-server mode https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/st ... erver.html
Or just keep it simple and stand up another discrete zm server?
What say you, large ZM admins?
