Manual start & stop of ZM / Backup of camera settings?

I'm playing with ZM 1.29 under Linux Mint 17.3.

I have 2 questions:
1. Is it possible to configure ZM so that is doesn't auto-start at boot time, but will start and stop manually when I do 'sudo service zoneminder start' and 'sudo service zoneminder stop' '?
2. Is it possible to backup the camera settings you enter when you click on a source link on the zm console page (name, server, source type etc)? I would like to be able to mothball settings for a camera, which I only use now and then. Maybe somehow add the settings to the 'presets' list?
