saving camera video on laptop hard disk

Zoneminder is installed on a laptop which is registering the camera pictures when movement is detected
I access these video's from my personal laptop using the Zoneminder console tool.
I can view the events on my laptop, but how can I save an event video on my laptop?

Did you figure out this? I am also trying to see if there is a way to download the video clips saved in the sdcard to my laptop. Let me know if you find an answer to this question.
