I wonder where I can enable to save the events files as avi automatically. I only find solutions to save the avi instead of the jpegs, but I need both. Do you have any idea?

Currently, no. You can export events as video files which will leave the jpg's in place. I think you can set up an event filter to do this.

Only in experimental branches like h264-videostorage or connortechnology storageareas and not avi but mp4. You can leave it making jpegs and also have passthrough h264 camera stream to files or encode other cameras to h264
