Very recent install of CentOS 7 and ZM 1.3.0. One monitor. All had been working acceptably well, for a test bed. Even had zmNinja talking to it.

However, this AM got an alert, as expected, but when I went to zmNinja, it would not log in. Shortly there after I discovered I could not view live action, or events. The event list would show, but no video.

Some digging suggested path to cgi was the culprit. But I had made no changes. Restarted ZM did not resolve problem.

Some further digging suggests Apache may be the problem. Again I made no changes. However I do see complaints in the /var/log/httpd/ssl_error.log like this:
"[Thu Feb 23 09:28:02.957885 2017] [:error] [pid 2891] [client 192.168.0.250:52345] ERR [socket_sendto( /var/lib/zoneminder/sock/zms-691046s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory], referer: https://"me"/zm/index.php?view=watch&mid=2"

I do see there is:"srwxr-xr-x 1 apache apache 0 Feb 23 09:27 /var/lib/zoneminder/sock/zmdc.sock", but only that.

Is this a ZM issue or a zmNinja issue? If you are able to view videos in ZM then the issue might be in your zmNinja configuration. I think you already posted in the mobile app forum - if the issue is not with ZM, lets continue the conversation in that thread.

I may not have been clear. It is a ZM issue. At least so it appears. No streaming, or other "video" in ZM. Worked fine yesterday.

Okay, you might want to post details (see here for a howto, specifically DO's and DONT's)

I've decided the best thing is reinstall from scratch, this time on dedicated Toshiba laptop instead of a VM.
