I use Zoneminder 1.29 in conjunction with Fhem.
The livestream works. Now I would like to create a still picture if someone rings at my door.

right click on the image stream of the camera you want the snapshot of. In that URL replace the mode=jpeg with mode=single.
try sending that url in the browser address bar.
