Hi,

I have mannaged to add the moveMap function for the HikVision PTZ Cameras, and it works when looking at the monitor, the PTZ funcion activates correctly and recenters the image where I clicked.

But When activating the Track Motion option in the Control Tab of the monitor, the zmtrack.pl can be seen on the running processes but nothing happens when a motion is detected, the camera does not recenter itself to where the motion was detected... is there somewhere else a parameter i might have missed ? Or did I missunderstood this feature ?

So... Nobody ever managed to have the Motion tracking to work ?

I would assume it doesn’t work. It’s a feature that would need a lot of work and that goes beyond tracking, as it would need to suspend motion detection, for example. Even basic control is a bit hit and miss in ZM.

As with all things, people can vote with their money. Get on Bountysource and make it worth doing.
