couple month ago, i used zoneminder from zmrepo and bought zmninja... configured and working all fine until i realized a couple of weeks ago, it stoped working.
so i changed my repo to rpmfusion, yum updated and still not working. (API)
the web url https://"server"/zm/api/host/getVersion.json gives me an error 404
and the url https://"server"/zm/api/ gives me an error 500
been trying to find out what is going on, not much information at all on how to re-enable those API ... under my folder /usr/share/zoneminder/www/api i do not see any folder called hosts...
ive been searching for a long time... still cant make it work. other than that, all my monitors are working. where should i look for more details ?
best regards.

Hi! I have the same problem after upgrading to ubuntu 17.10 distributive. Did you have a chance to find out the root cause?

Re: zoneminder API on centos 7.0
If Ubuntu took Debian package as they normally do, then problem is they decided to enhance it with their own cakephp packages, but forgot to include CRUD plugin so API is borked. There is a Debian thread that discusses it, not sure if iconnor has a PPA for 17.10, but that will be best bet.
