Try using ffmpeg as your source instead of remote.

Test the camera with VLC if you can, or some other rtsp viewer. It looks like the url should be
Code: Select all
rtsp://[username]:[password]@[IPADDRESS]/play2.sdp
without the brackets. Using VLC to test helps eliminate any problems there might be with your zoneminder install. It looks like it's getting a login message instead of a stream.

This is what you use in VLC even Windows version:

With your DCS-2121 camera you have two options in Zoneminder
1- JPG Stills:
Source Type: Remote
Remote Host Name: username:password@cam_ip
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /image/jpeg.cgi?profileid=1
or
2- MJPEG:
Source Type: Remote
Remote Host Name: username:password@cam_ip
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /video/mjpg.cgi

Hello, at now VLC work fine, but I don't understand one thing.
In the VLC, if I put the ip address just doesn't work, example:
212.170.22.153
If I put the address of the website just like on the web doesn't work, example:
http://212.170.22.153:8080/view/viewer_ ... html?id=22
But if I put
212.170.22.153:8080/mjpg/video.mjpg it's works fine.
why?
I'm sorry for my ignorance

It is probably because "212.170.22.153:8080/mjpg/video.mjpg" is the raw video stream, which is what Zoneminder wants,
and
"212.170.22.1453:8080/view/viewer/...?id=22" is serving up an HTML page which surrounds the raw video stream, and Zoneminder has no idea what to do with all that HTML -- it is not a web browser.

Hi all, I think I have solved the problem, in part. I did not complete the zoneminder installation, I lacked to establish the path of the files.
But now I have another problem, I think it's something from the FSR, can someone help me?
