Events directory not changing?

I'm using ZoneMinder 1.31.1.

I've followed http://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/lat ... drive.html and tried adding ZM_DIR_EVENTS= to my zm.conf and restarting zoneminder.

I read on the forum that if zoneminder is less than three days old, you need to put a conf file inside of /etc/zm/conf.d/ but that hasn't fixed it either.

Any ideas?

You can tru to use the storageareas branch which is supposed to make adding storage easier. There is also a procedure for Ubuntu/Debian to add storage. See: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Common_Issu ... ive_or_NAS
I set up an old Dell Poweredge server just yesterday with an extra 1 TB SATA drive for storage. Zoneminder 1.30.4 but your version should work.
