Hello,
I see that for Ubuntu there are two repos, Storage areas and Master. Which amongst the two can be update to stable release whenever that comes out?
Is there any difference between Storageareas and Master?
Thanks
PS: I am interested in H.264 passthrough and mjpeg streams.

Go with master.
Isaac regularly merges storageareas into master, so they are in sync. There used to be a time when master and storageareas were out of sync, but that's been resolved.
When ZM is released, it will be released from master.

Thanks i will setup using the master repo. Once 1.32 is released i will change the repo to stable. Will the mysql ZM db be the same between current master and 1.32 stable release?

Oh, I missed the part where you were referring to ubuntu master or storageareas. I assume you are referring to icon's (Isaac's) ppa archive?
I was referring to storageareas vs. master on GitHub.
I don't know - lets wait for Isaac or anyone else in the know to respond. I don't use his ppa link.

I think it is the same with the Ubuntu iconner PPA, master and storageareas seem in sync. I would say yes that the mysql db stays the same except for table updates
