Running v1.31.44.
Using "zoneminder-master" on Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS.

I´m having problem with ghosting/smearing/pixelation.
I´ve uploaded a sample/event with this happening sample.
You can see that at sometimes the contour of the guy/me in the picture is blending into the background.
Also, the face gets very blurry.

("Untouched" version of the event is available here).

The only thing I have to say is that I don't think it's ZM's fault. I think it is all the encoder on the cameras fault. Perhaps changing it's settings will help.

The other thing to notice is that you are saving both the h264 stream AND storing millions of jpg's. You might think about Just storing the analysis frames.

Hi there,
I have used the same camera and found the quality a bit poor. Try reducing the frame rate. And dont set a frame rate in ZM.

Hi!

Yes, I80jas is right. As in a manual, DO NOT set frame rate in ZM, should be empty. Instead set it up in camera own settings.
Once I forget that at set up a test system and spent days to debug not working system.

By the way, iconnor why ZM have this settings, as they mess up ZM and its user? It would be nice to remove them.
