Skin problem in Zoneminder 1.32.3

Post by ihr723 »

I have been using Zoneminder for years now.
A few days ago I decided to upgrade from the previous version (1.29.x) to version 1.32.3, using this procedure:
I reinstalled CentOS7 from scratch.
Updated CentOS7 with LAMP-Server, and
finally installed Zoneminder 1.32.3 from RPM-Fusion.org

I configured 3 cameras, and it generally is working fine, but it bothers me the log is rapidly filling-up with "Invalid skin css 'flat' setting to base"
see attached log-file. The logging is set to ERR.
besides that i'm quite unhappy with the way the Delete-button is (not)-working when watching an event.
With the previous version (1.29.x) i could press the delete-button when playing an event, and that event would be erased from the DB as well as the image itself. Then the next image (if any) would be displayed. This dosn't work in version 1.32.3 as nothing is deleted when pressing the delete-button, only the next image is displayed. The only way to delete events is selecting from the event-list, and pressing the delete-button there.

It makes no difference which skin or language i choose in the zoneminder settings.
My locale is: LANG = en_us.utf8, VC Keymap: dk (i'm living in Denmerk), and X11 Layout=dk,us.

What can I do to get rid of these problems?

Update to my previous message:

It seems to have an impact which browser I use. I normally use Mozilla Firefox, running on Linux Mint, and with it I have the effect described in my first message. When using Google Chrome instead, the deletion of the event images seems to be working, exactly as it did in the previous version of zoneminder.
The problem with the skin-CSS shown in the log-file remains though.

I hope somebody has a clue to getting rid of this error!

I suspect you just need to go to options->Display and click save.

Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem, but I have replaced Firefox with Vivaldi and that has solved all my problems :D
So I consider the problem as solved!
