Upgrade ZM 1.30.4 on Debian 9 to ZM 1.33.x on Debian 10?

Is it possible to [successfully
] UPGRADE both ZM and Debian, from ZM 1.30.4 on Debian 9 to ZM 1.33.x on Debian 10? My current server has quite a few configurations that I'd rather not risk trashing as would happen with a fresh install: I try to maintain copies of config files (in a sudo repository), but most likely there will be some missed that would cause a lot of hair-pulling.
Many months ago I had installed Debian Buster (development) and ZM 1.32.x but ended up reverting back due to database corruption issues.
A quick search here seems to suggest that 1.33.x plays a lot nicer with Debian 10 (helps that there's now an actual production release of Debian Buster).
I'd be running mariadb server.
