ZM 1.34.1, control script "Amcrest HTTP API" results in error 401 not authorized when attempting any PTZ function. More discussion here, but seems to be in wrong forum, so reposted in this one.

I'll probably keep checking in on these threads/issues for a while, and happy to help with additional testing...

Re: Amcrest control error
Isaac figured out what was broken in the Amcrest PTZ script. My understanding is the fix will be in the latest new version, or you can DL it directly from here. This new version is working on my 1.34.1 with very new Amcrest cameras.
Re: Amcrest control error
I can confirm everything is working for me now in ZM v1.35.0 with my new(ish) Amcrest 3MP/2304TVL.

Re: Amcrest control error
Configuration is explained in the documentation here https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/1. ... ntrol.html
The only tricky part for the Amcrest is the control address. Open the monitor, go to control tab, select controllable, enter "login:password@cameraIP:80" in the control address field. The login and password is the one you configured for your camera. CameraIP is the camera IP address. Select the Amcrest_HTTP for the "control type". You will have to edit it and select all the capabilities of your camera. Save, OK you way back out, open the monitor and you should have control iconography on the display. Now the error logs become your friend....
