[solved] Filter -> PurgeWhenFull

Good morning, everyone,

I have the problem that the filter "PurgeWhenFull" does not work. I have set the default filter "PurgeWhenFull" to "Disk percent" = 70 for my test and the current filter is already occupying 80% of the HDD space.

On the server I see two active tasks "zmfilter.pl" with the IDs 1 and 2. Errors in the logs are not found.

Attached I have the configuration of the filter, the storage, the status of the running tasks.

I would be super grateful if someone could give me a hint what I am doing wrong.

Thanks
Olaf

You changed the default storage which shouldn't matter but does. On the several servers I have set up since 1.34 was released with second storage drives I set a second purge when full filter for the second storage. Also use a 30 day purge.
You can try to set the default storage back to /var/cache/zoneminder/events and create a new storage with /mnt/vol1/events but remember to change the monitor storage.
You do have an events directory on vol1 with www-data ownership?
