Disk Space Filter

Hello all,
I've been looking around tutorials and this forum but it's still unclear how to use the "Disk Space" filter.

I tried using different values and conditions but seemed to return some random results. Is the size in Go, Mo ? Is the filter about the size left on the Disk ?
I would prefer this option to "Disk Pourcentage" because I would like to sync my file with DropBox which has a limitation of 2 Go. I would then purge the disk when the system is more than : my actual size + 2 Go (My Laptop is used only for Zoneminder).

Maybe a "better" way of doing it would be to mount a file and limit the size to 2 Go as we can see here : https://askubuntu.com/questions/841282/ ... -directory
I might try this option in the next few days.

Even if, in the future, I don't need the "Disk Space" filter I could be a great idea to add a few sentences to the tutorial to explain quickly how it works :)
Thanks a lot for all the job done so far, that's amazing ! :D

I always thought it was just run to update the % in use.

It is. It really isn't meant to be used by user... but we try to keep things accessible/editable by users... maybe a mistake.

The diskspace filter is really only designed to update how much disk space is used by each event. You can tweak it in multi-server situations to optimise IO use/bandwidth use, but if you don't know what you are doing, leave it alone.
