Hello,
I am trying to set the document root on 1.34.16 running on Ubuntu 20.04, but when I change the root from /var/www/html to /usr/share/zoneminder/www in 000-default.conf, I get the zoneminder console on the web without having to add /zm to the address, which is what I want, but the formatting is wrong and the page doesn't work correctly. I have been looking through posts and trying for days, but I could use some help, if anyone knows where I am going wrong. Thanks!
Changing document root on Ubuntu
Re: Changing document root on Ubuntu
Now that I figured it out, I'm embarrassed to have asked. In case anyone else has the same issue and for when I forget what I did, I was changing the document root to /usr/share/zonemineder/www in 000-default.conf correctly, but I did not change the cache alias in zoneminder.conf. Once I changed the line Alias /zm/cache /var/cache/zoneminder/cache to Alias /cache /var/cache/zoneminder/cache, everything is working now.
