Hello,
I have two different machines running the same version of Unraid and the same version of ZM yet one machine has a "Download MP4" button and it downloads directly without additional input, while the other machine has a "video" button that when clicked you can choose the type, speed and size..

I don't know how I did it, I assume that it is my error, but can anyone tell me how to get the "Download MP$" button on both machines?

Download video generally works for mp4 passthrough mode, although can also work for x264 encode.. it just downloads the existing video, but if it doesn't exist then you need to create it, so hence you have the video button.

OK, so what am I missing.
machine 1 dell R710 running unraid and zoneminder 1.32.19. This has "Download MP4" button
And Dell R510 running unraid and zoneminde 1.32.19 and this one has "Video" Button

I must have missed something when setting up the R510, where do I need to make the change to get them to work the same?

I think that I found it. Not only did I mess up once, I messed up on every camera I added. Storage was set to Frames and analysis without a video writer.
