Today I have tested Zoneminder master 1.35.6~20200921172458-focal .
I have found a minor problem in motion detection recording .
The motion detection event recording does not stop ,if I change the monitor status from modect to monitor using the drop down menu .
The recording stops only after restarting Zoneminder .

I didn't find any other problem.

The above error still remains in Zoneminder master 1.35.6~20200922155244-focal released on 23-9-2020

The above error still remains in Zoneminder master 1.35.6~20200923161646-focal released on 24-9-2020

The above error still remains in Zoneminder master 1.35.6~20200925160318-focal released on 26-9-2020

As a workaround not requiring restart it works when you change modes from within monitor settings and saving the changes.

This problem has been fixed in the latest Zoneminder master 1.35.8~20200930093952-focal released today.

The problem has been solved by Mr. Isaac Connor in the latest Zoneminder master 1.35.8~20200930093952-focal released 2 hours back.
Restarting is not required .
