Reolink RLC-410-5MP and storage passthrough

Hi,
I've been using the Reolink for awhile now, using RTMP and storage passthrough.
What I don't get is automatic playback of the saved video when I look at events. I have Gapless Events set in the event viewer, but the video always ways until I press play to start. When the event is finished and the next event comes up, I have to press play again.
Also, pressing Zoneminder's play button doesn't work, I have to press the video overlay play button (top left corner of video).
Is this a know issue, or is there a work around other than transcoding?
