Unable to authenticate user from (null)

Hi,
all of a sudden, I can't view events and can't view live streams.
I am getting:
zms_m1 xyz 4945 ERR Unable to authenticate user from (null) zms.cpp 213
and
web_php xyz 3025 ERR Unable to authenticate user from auth hash 'string' /usr/share/zoneminder/www/includes/auth.php 191
I have made sure the time zones in php, server and MariaDB is correct.
Watching stills works as before.
Turing off OPT_USE_AUTH makes everything work.
Browser also says "Parts of this page are not secure such as images.".
I am on 1.34.22 on a Ubuntu 18.04.1.
What else can I do?
