zmrepo down? How to install then?

Post by number9 »

I was a religious zoneminder user in the mid 2000s but moved to motion after receiving some new cameras that would just not work with zoneminder.

Now, motion has been upgraded, and it is really flaky. I note that zoneminder is now supporting the cameras I use, and I am going to move back.

Before I get the source and compile, I was going to install according to the debian docs here. https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/la ... ian-buster

However, the repo is not responding, and I am checking from several internet locations, including: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/zmrepo ... r.com.html

So the question is, is it really down? Should I just grab the source and install all of the build tools and compile it? If I am going to do that, should I install 1.34.x or move to the latest?

Thanks for the help!
