Square live video feed

I am running the 1.34.23 release on Ubuntu 20.04

Had to do a fresh install...don't want to get into it.

I did everything exactly as I have every time, but now..

Live feed is displaying in a perfect square with the image stretched tall and event playback is the same shape with the proper aspect ratio in letterbox with black at the top and bottom to fill out the square video display.

I am ripping my hair out, it has to be something stupid simple, but it escapes me.

You've entered the wrong image dimensions in your monitor.

This is crazy. They are both set at 2592x1944, just like always and it wasn't working properly. when i turn em both up to 4k, it works. Grrrrrr lol. looks like im running at 4k.
