I've been using Zoneminder for quite some time but can't seem to get v1.36 working with the all the cameras I have. Two in this specific case are giving me the same error messages about an unrecognised content type. See the log here:
Jun 7 19:34:44 xxxxx zmc_m4[22327]: ERR [zmc_m4] [Failed to capture image from monitor 4 FosC1LR (1/1)]
Jun 7 19:34:44 xxxxx zmc_m4[22327]: ERR [zmc_m4] [Unrecognised content type '']
Jun 7 19:38:27 xxxxx zmc_m2[22440]: ERR [zmc_m2] [Failed to capture image from monitor 2 Fos8910UP (1/1)]
Jun 7 19:38:28 xxxxx zmc_m2[22440]: ERR [zmc_m2] [Unrecognised content type '']
Something makes me think that this is related to an issue I came across a long time ago about it not giving the right content type while receiving the stream. Both of the cameras are Foscam cameras, but completely different models. One is the Foscam C1 and one is an Foscam 8910. They both have different urls to the streams, here's what I'm using for both:
Foscam C1:
Remote
HTTP (Simple)
http://ipaddress/cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi? ... xx&pwd=xxx
Foscam 8910:
Remote
HTTP (Simple)
http://ipaddress/videostream.cgi?user=zmuser&pwd=z0n3r
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated!

Re: Unrecognised content type
What settings - source and storage? Some things changed, mostly in the storage area.
And they do work with VLC?
And they do work with VLC?
Re: Unrecognised content type
Yes it does work with VLC but I can't get the VLC libraries to load properly to use that in Zoneminder. I'm just using the default storage settings, I haven't changed them.
Re: Unrecognised content type
I had the same going from 1.36.2 to 1.36.3 where my Remote configured cameras threw that error. My ffmpeg cameras weren't affected
The 1.37.0 test system was updated at the same time and the remote cameras still work. Building a quick 1.36.3 from scratch and the remote cameras all worked
I have to admit I didn't look much further as my production 1.36.3 still works with ffmpeg cameras which are the ones that record full time and I didn't want to rebuild until I have way to backup the events. I ended up using my 1.37.0 system to view the remote cameras as they are just for viewing wildlife
As to cameras, my mix of SV3C & Hiilook all still work just fine. The remote cameras are my original D1 PAL ones running through a Samsung SPE-400 encoder. I can setup an old remote camera if you need any logs of what is going on
How time flies, I checked back in my records as to when I bought my original capture card for those cameras and it was 2010
Forgot to mention a straight Ubuntu server 20.04 running on a Z400 with 12GB for the 8 ffmpeg cameras. KVM runs to host 1.37.0 for the 4 x D1 cameras
