Problem deleting events

I have a bit of trouble clearing the server of events. Since I have a lot, I tried deleting everything from the zoneminder events area. So there are no files anymore.

But zmaudit seems to do nothing. Nor does restarting zoneminder or rebooting the server.

How am I supposed to run zmaudit? I just run it with sudo?

But installation has thousands of entry's in the database. And they remain.

You can make a filter to do it...I've had to do that a couple times.

zmaudit will only delete older events as in more than a day old, controlled by the Options->System->ZM_AUDIT_AGE

The best way is to use a filter and just let it run.
