Same Monitor Storing in Multiple Directories

Please can anyone advise why my monitors appearing to be saving the same data in multiple directories? It looks like that each time I renamed the monitor a new directory was created with the new monitor name but then event data has been saved to the old and new directories. I have attached a screen shot showing three directories that all seem to be containing the same data. Is this actually tripling my data usage?

Pete, If you do a ls -l in the /mnt/Data2/surveillance directory you should see that the Named monitor directories are actually links to the monitor number and that all 3 of the Front 1 main directories are actually linked to the same monitor number and data is only being stored in a single location.
