upgrade to zoneminder1.36.12 monitor screen issues

Post by bitflip10 »

Hi all, I rewrote this to be easier to read after I found more issues.

I have been using zoneminder running on fedora based ZM from RPM fusion .rpms for a while and it has worked great. Upgrade to 1.36.12 seems to have caused three issues which occur on firefox and chrome browsers run on the zoneminder PC itself or remotely over the network. :

1. the data on the line "State: - fps fps fps" on the monitor screen are blank as well as the data on the line "Mode: Rate: x Delay: s Buffer: % Zoom: x"

2. the monitor real time stream can go blank white except for a little box in the upper left. Refreshing brings stream back most of the time.

3. the 10 events below the real time monitor stream don't update as new events come in.

Suggestions on how to troubleshoot or is this a known issue?

TIA

Update:

Chrome got updated to Version 100.0.4896.60. Behaviour has changed, On the Chrome browser only, following has changed on the real time monitor page:

1. the line starting with Mode: has disappeared completely
2. On the line "State: Alert - capture: 30.04, analysis: 35.78 fps fps fps", is now partially populated.
3. The line with the Stop/Start Magnify buttons have disappeared
4. the 10 most recent alarms are now updating as new alarms come in

Firefox still has unpopulated State and Mode lines. firefox-98.0-3.fc35.x86_64

Have not received the ZM 1.36.13 update yet since not in Fusion RPM repo yet.

I'd skip 1.36.13 and wait for .14(soon).
