Lots of Single Frame Events

Post by xeroiv »

I am just getting started with ZoneMinder and installed 1.36.11 on Debian. I am getting lot of single frame events when I set my monitors to mocord or record. It appears this issue has happened in the past. Is there any fix or perhaps something that I can check in my config? My settings are almost identical to the ones in this archived post.

Edit: I don't know if this would be relevant, but I have the events by default storing on my NAS via a NFS connection. I followed a guide on these forums to replace the default storage location using Systemd.

I think you'll find that there is crashing happening. Check your logs.

That looks to be the case... now to figure out what it means is wrong.

So I have found through some testing that the ZMC crashes if I have the option to save JPEGs set to anything other than disabled. Is this something that I should submit as a github issue?

First you should update to 1.36.14.

Then if it's still a problem create the issue.

Thanks for the quick package for 1.36.14 on Debian 11. I updated and tried to enable save JPEG and checked my logs. I saw that ZMC immediately started crashing for the monitor that I enabled it on. I will work on submitting an issue to GitHub.
