rtsp:// [ip] :554/11

doesn't work? does onvif scan see it? Try getting it to work with VLC, first.

I Tried VLC using the network stream and giving it the URL rtsp://192.168.1.43:554/11 and got the message VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://%20192.168.1.43%20:554/11'. Check the log for details.

not sure how to use the ONVIF scanner

Thanks for trying

%20 is a space. remove them. VLC won't work that way.

rtsp://192.168.1.43:554/11 does appear not to have spaces, as it should.

In ZM, you click the middle button on the far right, it should default to your lan, and list any onvif cams it finds. We hope your F300 will be there. If so, select it and hope it connects. Leave the user/password blank unless the camera needs them.

Thanks for the help
I did what you said and hit the drop down for detected cameras and nothing showed
could it be this camera is attached to the network via WiFi

I also connected via cat5 just to eliminate that possibility with same result

I'm not familiar with the capabilities of that camera,
But I can tell you that not every one that says it does onvif really does it correctly. I can tell you that so long as the camera is on your network (with an IP) it matters not if LAN or WLAN.
If you can get into it with web browser, you may find that onvif is disabled or requires a password. This would normally only happen if the camera had been operated after it left the factory in my experience.
You mentioned iSpy - do they have a working (reportedly) path for it? Cause if it won't work with iSpy it's probably not going to work with zm.

Not having any idea what you want to accomplish, anything that works with the CamHipro app has worked for me.
Take a look at the hardware compatibility list for some ideas.
Personally, I look for cheap cameras that indicate they do rtsp. I got one I couldn't get to work because it was misrepresented - sent it back.

Have fun...
